Private and public educational institutions in Turkey

There are both private and public kindergartens and schools in Turkey. In some cities, such as Alanya and Antalya, education is provided not only in Turkish, but also in foreign languages.

The curriculum is designed to meet modern European standards, providing quality education, which is an excellent basis for further admission to Turkish universities.

Two types of kindergartens and schools in Turkey

  1. Private educational institutions offer education in various languages (Russian, English, German, etc.), as well as small classes, an individual approach to each student, and a wide range of extracurricular activities and clubs. At the same time, learning Turkish is part of the curriculum.

  2. Public schools and kindergartens offer free education in Turkish. Both Turkish children and children of foreign citizens study there. To enroll, you will need to provide documents on a residence permit. Although enrollment is not difficult, it may be difficult for a new student to adapt and master the Turkish language. In practice, children adapt very quickly and begin to speak Turkish. Everything is individual and depends on the child's environment.
